YOU_UP in Europe and Beyond

An exciting opportunity is currently available for a youth association or related organization to participate as a partner in the 2013 Rondine youth exchange; a ten day intensive multicultural learning experience for 32 young people from Italy, Israel, Palestine and an other European country. The exchange has the following objectives:
Favour a community in which young people are promoters of tolerance, mutual understanding and respect for diversity;
Favour young people's creativity and initiative;
Foster cooperation and active participation in society through sport and outdoor activities;
Promote the idea of active European citizenship;
The exchange will see the 32 young people participating in ten days of games, sports, discussion and dialogue, social and cultural activities, creative workshops, meetings and trips. They will share their living spaces with each other and be actively involved in all the activities, often working in small mixed groups so as to foster dialogue and friendship between them, with English as the common language of the exchange. They will also be responsible for carrying out every day tasks such as cleaning, setting and clearing tables at mealtimes. The experience is highly intensive for all those involved; everyone is encouraged to exchange views, share experiences and experiment new skills. Over the 10 days they will build up an unforgettable atmosphere of trust, understanding and cooperation.
