YOU CO-OP

The youth work sector continues to evolve and is gaining increasing prominence on the political agenda at the EU and Member State levels. Breaking down unemployment and poverty with a smart, sustainable and inclusive strategy are the goals and objectives of Europe 2020’s strategy. The same objectives characterize the cooperative world.
The YOU CO-OP “Youth Workers toward youth cooperative entrepreneurship” a KA1 Mobility of Youth Workers project aims to provide Youth Workers working in youth organizations to get in touch with different European realities active in the field of youth; creating new partnerships, expand their network of contacts and improve their project management skills. The project focuses on the contamination of different European youth realities, especially towards youth entrepreneurship in relation to the opportunities offered by the cooperative sector in every field of its possible application (social, agricultural, environmental etc.)
Youth workers will focus on the theme of local cooperation with phases of training, planning, discussion and visit to the local cooperative realities. The contamination of different EU cooperative realities will lead to transfer the model to a local and European level.
Place: Vignola, Italy
Period: 7 days from the 7th to the 14th of April 2019
Participants: 2 Youth Workers for each organization for a maximum of 7 participant organizations
