You are the changes!

The processes of the development of modern life have become the reasons of permanent changes in all spheres everywhere. It’s evident that society cannot come back to the past. The life forces to develop the social processes and be active in everything. We should look for new efficient instruments of influence and interaction with teenagers and youth in the field of non-formal education, because they form the new generation which can be active or passive. It depends on the activity and role of NGO generally and the position of youth leaders particularly.
Today the youth citizens aren’t ready to make decisions and change everyday life thinking about needs of majority. People think that it’s the business of government or social institutes and nobody can change the order of things. And it can be the most important reason for future misunderstanding between the majority and different social institutes, because nobody can choose the right strategy of acting without considering of public opinion. There are some different reasons why people don’t want to solve the problems themselves or try to make decisions in their communities. They aren’t sure that they can be successful, or it can be the lack of confidence or good practice or knowledge about how to do it etc.
We consider that the main goal of youth leaders’ work today is to encourage youth to take charge of their lives by addressing their situations and then take action in order to improve their access to resources and transform their consciousness through their beliefs, values and attitudes.
We want to propose the youth leaders from other countries to participate in common work and invent some common approaches that can answer the goals of international coherence.
We would like to invite as many countries as we can because of different points of views and life styles. Europe is the area where majority doesn’t want to do something because of efficient work of social institutes, in Asia and in Russia the problem of interaction between social institutes and people is in the absence of respecting human rights and research of common point of acting. Meanwhile European people have their privacy and sometimes it’s even a lot of privacy which can’t let to act with others. In Asian countries and in Russia people work and live together trying to find some solutions and depending sometimes on the actions of all participants. So, other points of view can be the best way of integrating people in the process of solving the problems and increasing the level of self-responsibility.
In this case social institutes should find some methods to help people and teach them to be more responsible and independent. We want to invent some ways how to accompany people in making decisions, being more like a partner, not a teacher or a leader.
The priorities for us are:
• Development of activity of non-formal teenagers’ groups , active citizenship and democracy;
• Increasing of the capacity of youth capacity of youth structures in managing of youth projects;
• The empowerment of long term collaboration in between NGO in the world;
• The promotion of youth activism, youth rights and youth involvement in community decision-making;
• Setting regional/nation partnerships in order to increase access to the trans-national youth initiatives.
We expect:
• to boost participation in social life,
• increase the quality of youth projects,
• ensure the best practices of working with youth,
• bring attention to the needs to ensure open and equal participation in democratic life of youth.
We want to promote the freedom of expression by organizing some activities of non-formal education like brainstorming, quizzes, role-play games with difficult situations, debates clubs etc. We also propose our partners to share experience how to work with youngsters and what efficient methods they use in their work. This project is also a way to transmit international values and break stereotypes. That’s why we plan to organize some activities which can show another life style.
We are going to invent the sort of international association of youth leaders, which will:
• Help to create new associations in different countries in the world;
• Coordinate the activity of sharing experience, researching and promoting the best methods of interaction with teenagers;
• Realize common international projects.
We also want to involve the experts in different spheres for educating responsible young citizens and youth leaders which can be autonomous and ready for modern life. We are sure that there are no impossible tasks, it’s just undelivered target.
Each partner sends two participants which are directly involved in planning and implementation of the project and activities for young people within organization.
Expected partner should have limited experience in international youth project and high motivation to establish and educate their staff.
The project is long-term and supposes to have some steps in realization: meeting between youth leaders, youth exchanges in different countries.
The project will last for three years.
The first meeting is planned in the end of May of 2016 in Le Teil (Ardeche, France) which is famous for its beautiful nature. The partners can propose activities which attract local youngsters and organize some public events for the population of the city. This meeting lasts 5 days and includes the activities focusing on searching of the efficient instruments of working with teenagers, sharing the experience and best practice.
