A KA205 project: Create a support system to promote entrepreneurship, that helps to implement innovating projects. Inspire; train; develop enterprising ideas
In view of the current context of youth unemployment, especially in our countries, and the growing Euro-scepticism and consequent political extremism associated with the poor economic situation of the recent years, this issue becomes even more relevant.
Entrepreneurship is not part of the normal teaching plan. The importance of entrepreneurship is little publicized among young people and, even though KA205 projects have already been implemented in our countries, we believe that even more can be done.
The encouragement of an entrepreneurial way of thinking (creativity, initiative, teamwork, sense of responsibility) and the teaching of related skills (communication, languages, branding, use of new technologies, preparation of a business plan, understanding of accounting documents, among others) is important for combating unemployment, especially among young people. Therefore, entrepreneurship is one of the key competences proposed by the European Commission for lifelong learning.
This project aims to be broader in terms of its objectives, including not only the dissemination and promotion, but also the training of young people, in order to present solid business ideas and their respective follow-up.
The expectation is that several projects will be undertaken and that most of them succeeds. Successful projects will make a positive contribution to job creation (of the entrepreneurs and jobs they create) and to economic growth.
