Inclusion through the power of art
Youth Exchange
25-31 January 2026 | Yambol, Bulgaria
Discover how art can become a powerful educational tool for building empathy, breaking barriers, and inspiring inclusion. In this hands-on youth exchange, participants will explore creative methods to confront discrimination, racism, and stereotypes—while growing as individuals and as a group.
Have you ever wondered how painting, theatre, or storytelling can help challenge social injustice? How creativity can be used to bring people from different cultures closer together? Then this project is for you.
This youth exchange brings together young people from diverse backgrounds to explore how art can be used to express personal stories, raise awareness, and connect across differences. Through group discussions, collaborative workshops, and cultural sharing, participants will reflect on real issues of exclusion and find new ways to respond together.
The project goes beyond creative activities. It promotes self-expression, active citizenship, and social responsibility. Participants will gain tools to promote inclusion in their local communities and become more confident, open-minded, and engaged young Europeans.
Key elements include creative expression, non-formal education, intercultural dialogue, group reflection, team building, and community impact.
Our Goals:
• Use Art as a Tool: Explore how creative expression can break stereotypes, challenge racism, and foster inclusion.
• Promote Dialogue and Understanding: Encourage open conversations about discrimination and social barriers.
• Develop Empathy and Intercultural Awareness: Build deeper understanding between people from different backgrounds.
• Empower Self-Expression: Support participants in telling their stories through visual and performing arts.
• Strengthen Soft Skills: Improve teamwork, creativity, confidence, communication, and emotional intelligence.
• Activate Youth Participation: Motivate participants to act in their communities for a more inclusive society.
• Support Participants with Fewer Opportunities: Provide an empowering international experience in a safe, welcoming space.
