We are looking for partners with our project based on Creative Europe Programme (CREA).
Purposes of the Project:
To increase the number of women entrepreneurs in the European Union by promoting the adoption of circular economic principles in the cultural and creative industries. By promoting sustainable practices in these industries, the project aims to create new economic opportunities while reducing waste and environmental impact.
Activities of the Project:
- Providing training and mentoring to help craftspeople of Kırkyama (Patchwork) develop their skills and create high quality products
- Organizing workshops and masterclasses where the craftspeople can learn new techniques and share their knowledge and experience
- Commissioning craftspeople to create original works of art that can be exhibited in galleries and museums both in Europe and internationally
- Developing a product line that meets the needs and preferences of contemporary consumers while preserving the cultural and traditional value of handicrafts
- Providing business training and mentoring to craftspeople to help them develop entrepreneurial skills and start or grow their businesses
- Establishing a network of craftspeople and entrepreneurs to facilitate collaboration, knowledge sharing and access to new markets
- Establish partnerships with textile manufacturers and retailers to help craftspeople access the supply chain and expand their distribution channels
- Developing an incubation program that provides access to financing, mentoring and other resources to help craftspeople start or scale their businesses
Outputs of the Project:
- Contribute to increasing the number of women entrepreneurs in cultural and creative industries
- Adopting circular economic principles in the cultural and creative industries, leading to new economic opportunities and contributing to reducing waste and environmental impact
- Develop and promote the cultural and creative industries in Europe, with a focus on empowering women entrepreneurs and promoting gender equality
- Exploring cross-border cooperation and best practices between cultural and creative industries in different European countries
- Initiatives aimed at increasing diversity and inclusion in the cultural and creative industries and access to cultural participation
Target Group/Audience:
Women entrepreneurs, women's associations, municipalities and textile manufacturers operating in the cultural and creative industries in the European Union.
