World of Nature in Your Mobile

we (https://www.ddmpraha.cz/ and https://ddmpraha.cz/stanice-prirodovedcu) are currently looking for partners in a project “World of Nature in Your Mobile“ connected to the iNaturalist platform, which we are planning to be held in May 2027 at our own accommodation facility of Lomy_u_Kunzaku in charming South Czechia or Lhotka_u_Melnika (which is closer to Praha) and we will include a visit to Praha, the capital.
The topic will be closely tied with the iNaturalist application, the leading platform to record biodiversity findings around the world, i.e. learning about the app, how to use it to record fauna and flora and learn about it and this way to contribute to biodiversity research via open science even if the participant has zero previous experience. On the other hand, for those who already use the app it would be an opportunity to mentor others, share experience an learn about more sophisticated features of inaturalist from local experts.
For Erasmus+ youth projects, iNaturalist is particularly beneficial because it combines non-formal learning, environmental education and raising awareness, digital skills, outdoor activities, and international collaboration and open science in a single tool and it has great potential for disseminating further.
Our project is meant for a minimum of 8 and maximum of 20 participants from a partner country/countries, all above 16 years of age and at least one group leader. We consider 5-7 days of stay (excluding travel) and combination of workshops, outdoor activities and informal get-together activities. Do you think you would be interested in participating?
