Workshop on democracy

We will provide shortly a full account of the activities we are planning to carry on as well as a schedule when we have it in English (still being translated from Spanish). Basically there are two core activities:
The first group of activities are online activities. They involve creating groups from different European countries to work closer together to learn basic aspects of what democracy is and create some group work so that the participants can elaborate their own formulas, by the end of the project, to improve the existing democratic mechanisms. Thus this group of activities will be preparatory of the second group of activities. They will also let the participants to elaborate a written conclusion of their participation in the project.

The second group of activities involve a face to face meeting in which participants will interact to put into practice what is said about democracy and many times is not perceived as present in our daily lives. Through an interactive experience we intend that the participants are able to know what is at stake every time there is a political decision to be made, with many interests involved. Thus we plan to confront idealistic views of democracy with real life problems.
