Without ‘memory’ of the past we are hopeless in preparing and building our own future

Firstly, let us introduce ourselves: we are Laura Getuli and Alessio Sarti, two Scout chiefs in the Scout group of Roma AGESCI n. 19. We are the ‘Mestri dei novizi (novices masters)’ that are in charge of taking care of a group of 4 boys and 5 girls that are 16-17 years old.
Each year this community (noviziato) is completely renewed and new educational objectives are identified, together with the community members that take active part in the choice, under the lead of the masters :).

This year our boys have chosen to work on a very delicate matter that is becoming more and more important in Italy. They want to investigate the reasons that are behind the proliferation of new nazis and fascists movements among very young people and they also suggested to visit, this summer, a detention camp (like the ones od Dachau or Oświęcim for example) in order to stress the big link that it is important to always keep in mind.. Without ‘memory’ of the past we are hopeless in preparing and building our own future.
We found out that there are funds, from the EU, within the ‘Erasmus + project’ that are devoted to cultural exchange of young people.
This means that if we manage to prepare ‘super quickly’ our application, and the agency decides to fund the project, then we will be able to cover part of the travel and permanence expenses.
The Erasmus + project is financing the cultural exchanges that have to be carried out together by a group of boys and girls.
To have a chance to get the funds to come to Poland or Austria or Germany, for example, we need to
1) find out partners that want to live this experience with us (from 4th to 9th of August 2018)
2) prepare a schedule for our ‘summer’ camp and have at least 8 participants, for each ‘nation’, that spend together at least 5 days (living together .. to make the cultural exchange.

Unfortunately, for this year, we have strong constraints on the logistic part of the exchange.
The camp has to happen btw the 4-5th of August and has to end in the 9th.
Of course we can discuss together (only if you are interested of course) all the details on what we’re going to do together in those days.

But before that we need to know:
a) if you are interested in this opportunity (the EU agency will refund to you the costs.. travel and stay exactly in the same way that we will be refunded as well .. if the project is approved of course :D)
b) if you are available, btw the 4th and the 9th of August to work with us: we need at least 8 boys/girls from your group.
