With the One of Us project, we are looking for partners who will produce solutions for the benefit of prisoners from the Black Sea, Central and Eastern Europe and Baltic countries.

Our Bolu T Type Closed Penitentiary Institution, operating in the city of Bolu in the western Black Sea region of Turkey; It is the only prison in its region that has women, child prisoners and children between the ages of 0-6 who are with their mothers, as well as male prisoners.
There are also prisoners of Ukrainian, Roma, Bulgarian, Georgian nationality, as well as citizens or nationalities of the Black Sea and European countries in our prison.
As prison staff; We know that these prisoners, with whom we live in the same geographical area and have social, cultural and economic connections between regions and countries, are "one of us". Our differences do not make us separate, we are the same.
For this reason, we carry out many and different types of activities in order to prevent the prisoners in our prison from getting involved in crime again after their release and to ensure their reintegration into society.
As prison employees, we carry out activities in kindergarten, kindergarten, education and training, vocational courses, social-cultural-artistic activities, individual psychologist interviews, psychosocial group studies, health, security surveillance, execution, court, social assistance, daily meals and many more.
As prison employees working in institutions with disadvantaged groups and socially disabled individuals, we are getting some results with our activities, but we have not been able to fully achieve the success we want. Therefore; With prison workers, non-governmental organizations supporting professional workers and non-governmental organizations operating for the benefit of prisoners in Central and Eastern Europe and the Baltic countries, especially in the Black Sea region;
- To ensure that immigrants and refugees who had to leave their country due to war or any other reason integrate into society,
- To ensure that immigrants and refugees move away from committing crimes and participate in social, cultural and economic life,
- To cooperate in order to be more professionally beneficial,
- To establish social and cultural ties,
- To share our experiences,
- To convey our useful work to each other,
- To improve our existing work,
- To provide the ability to cope with the problems arising from professional attrition as prison staff working with disadvantaged groups and socially disabled individuals,
- Minimizing professional wear and tear
- To do more useful work for prisoners and their relatives,
and similar fields, and we also want to establish intercultural ties.
To this end, we are looking for partners from the Black Sea, Central and Eastern Europe and the Baltic countries who will help to find solutions to common regional problems.
