What do EU Speak?-Long term Volunteering Project

This ESC volunteering project consists of contributing with your mother tongue skills to teach children in our kindergarten about your culture and heritage.

Based on the principles of non-formal education, multilingualism and multiculturality, The "What do EU Speak?" project has been carefully designed for international volunteers to implement in our Kindergarten, "Voar Mais Alto". In this Project you will have the opportunity to support our language teacher, which prepares English, German and Spanish lessons for our children aged 3 to 6 Years old. They learn through words, sounds, pictures and audiovisual content designed by our pedagogical team and you are expected to support and help in the implementation of these language lessons as well as you will be expected to support the teachers and teacher assistants on their daily tasks like preparing activities for the children, doing handcrafts, help to tidy up the classroom and support in the outdoor activities. This project has been designed so that you have a personal space to develop your own activities with the children, in cooperatiion with our team, so we encourage your creativity!
