Association Proactiv for Community from Mangalia, Romania, proposes a youth mobility project under Erasmus+ KA105 and invites the interested organizations/institutions to participate in this action which consists in organizing an European conference with the following objectives:
Objective 1. Empowering the youth workers with European good practices, aiming at increasing their competences in the prevention and treatment programs, by creating and developing an active participation in programs in the field of prevention and assistance to victims of drug abuse.
The fundamental element of this objective is broadening the access of youth workers at European good practices and training them how to actively and effectively take part in prevention programs and care services programs, targeting the reduction of recreational drug consumption and addictive consumption methods which bring risks to public health, contagious diseases, HIV, TB disease, etc. and the risk of crime, regarding the regime of banned substances. Also, this project contributes to strengthening the accountability and collaboration of youth workers in the participating countries and the configuration of networks between them, strengthening the idea of cooperation and improvement of cooperation on the subject of drugs.
Objective 2. Disseminating at a regional level the best practices gained from implementing programs in the field of drugs, in order to articulate the mechanisms that favor the development of partnerships with relevant stakeholders, in order to improve the implementation of drug policy. Streamlining the transfer of expertise in the field of drugs is a current concern in Europe, thus we propose the promotion of mechanisms that have proved effective in their application in participating countries. With this objective we intend to identify solutions for overcoming the difficulties encountered in practice, giving to youth worksers the opportunity to participate in an exchange of experience with European partners.
