We are for the sports - traditional sport games and cultural heritage in the modern environment

Preservation of cultural heritage through exchange and exercising of forgotten traditional sport games from Croatia and the partner's countries by young people.

We are hosting a group of young people, some 6-8 youngsters between 13 and 18 years old (plus one supporting person) from our partner-organisations, as well as the same number of young people from our side at one destination at the Adriatic coast in the Spring 2016 and there present the heritage of the groups through the practizing of old and almost forgotten sports, learning about the context in which they were developed and finding the reasons for their vanishing, helping each other to understand more about the intercultural links and improving the dialogue... The main goal of the project is to improve the value of cultural heritage by its identification, examining, explanation, protection, preservation and presentation, to initiate the intercultural dialogue, improve cultural identity, and introduce the idea and the history of the multi-culturalism to the young people, making them more tolerant and acceptable towards other cultures, but also to encourage participants to seize the opportunity for getting involved in social enterpreneurship, hence empower themselves for innovation and sustainable development in urban and rural environments.
