water well Talat

TALAT OUCHEN WATER WELLS Project is going to be established to build a water sourcing system for one of the remote communities in Morocco.

Residents, primarily women, and children must walk several miles to reach the nearest potable drinking water in order to meet the community’s water needs. This great need for water, especially in the hot summer months, often pushes people to consume more than other seasons.
Project Description:
The solution to the problem has been decided to be water tanks fed by a well, and then piped to various locations for the convenience of the villagers.
Currently, the project has mapped out piping routes, found a water tank site, and completed the source well for the water sourcing system. During this portion of the project, the well pump and control panel are being purchased. The foundation will be laid for the water tanks, with piping run between the well site and water tank location.
Therefore, Talat Ouchen Association for sustainable development is seeking to raise funds that will contribute to all aspects of the new water project that well be a Sadaqah jariyah (charity that continues to benefit an individual after he dies) including:
•Digging and equipment of the water point
•Build a water-cement tank
•Squirt water and distribution channels (well pump and control panel…)
•Individual water supply works (piping water between the tank and villagers’ houses, Water-meter)
Project Impact
There will be approximately 750 people impacted by the project.
