Wake Up Sotavento!

"Wake Up Sotavento!" will be a Youth Exchange mainly focused on urban and street art and culture. We pretend to: create a new cultural atmosphere through the help of local communities; promote urban and street art at a local, regional, national and European level; foster cultural and artistic awareness amongst young people; share experiences and exchange ideas concerning art and culture between artists and young citizens. Our activities will be: music concerts; art exhibitions and contests; theatre play; movie night. We will use non formal education by facilitating group dynamics, lectures, workshops. The APV will occur during three days from the 31st of October to the 2nd of November 2014 and the youth exchange will take place during seven days from the 2nd to the 8th of February 2015 in Monte Gordo, Vila Real de Santo António (Algarve region, Portugal) and it will have a total of 35 participants (5 participants per organisation - 4 youngsters from 18 to 25 years old + 1 group leader with no age limit).
