VYBES goal is to bridge the gap between young people’s current economic challenges and their potential for economic stability and entrepreneurial success.
Vision and Goal: VYBES envisions a cohesive, economically resilient, and digitally empowered youth across the EU, specifically targeting Armenia, Georgia, Italy, Moldova, Spain, and Germany. Our goal is to bridge the gap between young people’s current economic challenges and their potential for economic stability and entrepreneurial success, leveraging virtual platforms for inclusive, cross-border engagement and skill development.
Context and Justification:
The main central problem identified across Armenia, Georgia, Italy, Moldova, Spain, and Germany can be succinctly described as "Youth Economic Disengagement and Instability". This encompasses the high rates of youth unemployment, mismatches
between education and labor market needs, social and economic exclusion, and the broader impacts of global crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic on young people's economic opportunities and mental health.
Young people in the target countries face daunting economic challenges, including high unemployment, educational and labor market mismatches, and the socio-economic repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic. These issues not only affect their immediate financial stability but also their long-term economic engagement and mental health. EmpowerYouth EU addresses these issues head-on, leveraging the Erasmus Plus framework to foster resilience, employability, and social cohesion among Europe's youth.
Target Group: The project specifically targets young individuals facing economic disengagement and instability, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds, NEETs, and youth affected by the digital divide in Armenia, Georgia, Italy, Moldova, Spain, and Germany.
Desired Result and Impact: VYBES aims to significantly enhance participants' employability and digital competencies, foster entrepreneurial spirit, and promote social inclusion. Expected impacts include reduced youth unemployment, increased cross-border collaboration, and a stronger sense of European identity and solidarity among young people.
Methodology and Strategies: The project adopts a comprehensive virtual exchange methodology, incorporating digital skill training, entrepreneurial bootcamps, policy co-creation forums, and cultural exchange programs. It leverages innovative virtual tools and platforms to facilitate learning, collaboration, and engagement across borders.
All activities in the project are done online. So we can plan for 2 activities a month or only one and we can plan for 36 months.
This project will be applied to EU commission by 25th April 2024 and need partners from those countries.
