Volunteers in action: All equal, all different!

Opportunity to foster a sense of solidarity in the local community and learn that the sense of equality "all equal, all different."

This project comes after the success of two projects EVS.

Therefore one of the most interesting experiences for volunteers in addition to supporting seniors living alone and isolated, was knowing the Municipality of Amadora as a space with a rich intercultural this factor was important in the learning process.

Our organization works in a highly cultural context. There is a community immensely rich in diversity, but also immensely poor and socially excluded.

The project objectives will be:
- Promote a sense of tolerance and solidarity;
- Promote a learning process through respect for cultural diversity;
- Foster support of local community, especially the people who most vulnerable to poverty and social exclusion (seniors and children).

Location:
Damaia, Lisbon - Portugal

3 volunteers (aged 18-30 - 1 voluntter each partner)
