Through this project “€-volunteers can help- Inclusion for disadvantaged children!” we are aiming at both the personal development of the participating volunteers as well as contributing to the wellbeing of the vulnerable groups of children and the local community of Bistrita, Romania.
The project involve 2 volunteers from France that will work for 12 months at Inocenti Foundation-Bistrita programs („Child’s Life” Program/“Me and my Family” Program/“Social and school integration for roma children”) more information about programs on www.inocenti.ro.
The set arrival date for the volunteers is 2nd March 2015, with the volunteers remaining in our organization until the 29th February 2016.
The selected 2 volunteers will help improve the situation of the identified vulnerable groups of children and young people (having as direct beneficiaries at least 50 children and young people) and involving at least 15 local volunteers to stimulate active involvement among the Bistrita community members, especially young people.
Inocenti Foundation will work towards establishing a framework and a context to stimulate the volunteers to self-improvement, development of skills and acquiring new skills along with identifying how these learning results can be valued in the future.
