Volunteering with children and horses

Conducting therapeutic riding with a large number of volunteers

Therapeutic riding demands a large number of volunteers involved in rad.Wings - Therapeutic riding has about 250 volunteers per year.
VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES:
1. BASIC TRAINING
The maintenance of internal spaces (cleaning stables, keeping the horse from the stable, cleaning simpler for people-living room, bathroom and dressing room)
Maintenance estates and outdoor spaces (cleaning outlets, guiding the horse to pasture, mowing grass, making fences, canopies, ...)
2. ADVANCED TRAINING
Volunteer training (cleaning horses, halter horses, horsemen moving around, cleaning stables, maintenance of therapy)
Assistant rider (care for the safety of users during therapy)
Extra feeders (feeder helps about feeding horses)
3. EDUCATION
Guide the horse in training (leading horses in therapy)
Duty (on duty at the farm on weekends, public holidays and holidays; takes care of the property and horses)
Instructor (trained volunteers for each volunteer position)
4. EDUCATION
Horse-conditioner / feeders (conditioner-takes care of the physical and mental state of the horse )
Coordinator / volunteer coordination (coordination of all segments of volunteer work)
Time activities:
8:00 to 8:30 - Cleaning
8:30 to 9:00 - performance horses from the stables of discharges
9:00 to 10:30 - cleaning the stable
9:00 to 19:00 - Therapy with horses (start every hour on the hour and last 45 minutes) and conditioning (30 minutes)
18:00 to 20:00 - the introduction of the horse in the stables and feeding horses
On each segment of training a volunteer is instructored by mentor and in any period are between 2 and 5 volunteers.
