We are looking for an hosting organisation working with elderly or disabled people living in nursery homes, and animals living on the streets and in shelters.
In this Project we would like to encourage youth on voluteering activities, create an awareness about volunteering, provide social equality between disadvantaged part of the society, provide to increase human dignity and animal rights, enhance awareness about disadvantaged gruop of society (Street animals, elderly people in nursery homes, disabled people),
We are organizing;
- book/stationery aid for primary schools located in disadvantaged areas,
- reading books, playing pedagogical games, making arts and carft activities for children who are treated in hospitals for a long time,
- visiting and spending time with foresaken elderly people living in rest homes and nursing homes,
- organizing dental care trainings, health screening, activities increasing motivation (art, pedagogical games, music, role playing... ) for orphanage children and for primary school students located in disadvantaged areas,
- nutrition aid and health screening for animals in animal shelters, healing street animals,
- humanitarian aid for Syrian refugees,
-vocalizing books for blind people,
with the contribution of students hosting in dorms.
We are planning to organise short term EVS (59 days). Our volunteer profile is graduate and undergraduate university students between ages 17-28.They are all financially disadvantaged succesful students having parents divorced or deceased, foreign, coming from families forced to leave their homes because of terror, with many siblings, living in geographically disadvantaged ares. They are all well educated students studying medicine, law, international relationship, nursing, public administration, engineering, foreign languages and literature, political science, business administration, economics) of the best universities in Ankara (capital city).
