Volunteering for Sustainable Development Goals Youth Exchange project is expected to be held in Arnhem / the Netherlands on 08-14 September 2018.

Taking into account the critical context in Europe - and considering the fact that volunteering can significantly contribute to address the needs of refugees, asylum seekers and migrants “Volunteering for Sustainable Development Goals project refers to Erasmus+ 2018 Guide’s horizontal priorities and embraces Sustainable Development Goals as a mechanism for quality volunteering. Project contributes more cohesive and inclusive societies in Europe and promotes active citizenship, diversity, intercultural and inter-religious dialogue, solidarity and sense of initiative for young people. Project aims to develop social capital among young people and empower them to understand and transfer the common fundamental values of European society through volunteering.

Project promotes mobility for young people and provides cooperation opportunities for youth organizations in the field of volunteering. It improves the level of key competences and skills of young participants enhance the capacity of partner organizations and help them to play an active role in society.

Project brings a global dimension to volunteering in a lifelong learning perspective, and facilitates transnational mobility of 30 youngsters from 5 different countries. Youth exchange project is expected to be held in Arnhem / the Netherlands on 08-14 September 2018.
