Volunteering for Europe

We are looking for volunteers who will work on a project to
maintain and further develop of our local Network of Youth
Euroclubs currently working in the city and regional
educational establishments. Euroclubs are youth clubs for
students 12-17 years old which are usually situated in
educational establishments. Euroclubs are formal or nonformal
groups of active youth who believe in and promote
European values and active citizenship.
Activities of Euroclub: organize active and valuable afterschool
activities; conduct research; learn about languages,
cultures, geography, economy of Europe and European
countries; disseminate knowledge of Europe and the Euro
integration processes.
The volunteer would work with these clubs during entire year
on one of the following topics: human rights, tolerance,
ecology, European integration, other (other topics can be
chosen and submitted with the application).
The main tasks are:
- Help conduct weekly meetings with EuroClubs;
- Help students to organize activities in EuroClubs;
- Help schools to maintain international partnership with
other schools;
- During the year develop, perform and present results of
the projects on the chosen topic with every school;
- Help with preparation and conducting of activities
during the City’s Day of Europe celebration;
- Help with organizing activities at the Euroclub network
level.
Other tasks:
- Conduct language courses of his/her native language
once a week for students;
- Take part in other activities in the organization.
