‘Volunteer Environmental Ambassadors’ We aim to create environmental activists by raising awareness of young people and youth personnel in our disadvantaged groups between the ages of 18-30 in areas such as globalisation and environmental pollution, which is the world's biggest problem, environmental protection, sustainability, combating climate change and renewable energy. Our vision is to provide not only environmental education but also
to create a series of activities to raise awareness of sustainability and environmental protection.

Project Vision: ‘Volunteer Environmental Ambassadors’ aims to create an environment where disadvantaged young people between the ages of 18-30 (e.g. cash aid recipients, unemployed, etc.) of all genders and races can work side by side with each other, focusing on areas such as environmental protection, sustainability, combating climate change and renewable energy.
Mission: Our mission is to raise awareness about the environment, to create environmental activist youth regardless of gender and race, to raise awareness by organising activities on the environment and having fun, and at the same time to attract different audiences and volunteers such as primary, secondary and university students. It aims to inspire communities through ‘Volunteer Environmental Ambassadors’, to challenge environmental issues and emphasise the importance of inclusiveness in promoting a more conscious society and to increase the interest of young people in the environment and protective activities in this field.

Key Objectives:

- Promoting Inclusion: Gender equitable and disadvantaged youth are encouraged to develop skills to raise awareness and influence on environmental issues. It is important to convey environmental messages to large masses through tools such as communication skills, use of social media (comics).

- Innovation: The Volunteer Young Environmental Ambassadors Project includes important innovative elements in the process of raising awareness and educating young people on environmental issues by using technology and digital communication tools effectively. While increasing the learning motivation of young people through gamification and interactive training approaches, it strengthens their ability to implement their environmental projects through creative project development and mentoring programmes. In addition, through data analytics and monitoring systems, it enables the real-world impact of projects to be assessed and continuously improved. With its sustainability and green technologies-oriented approaches, it encourages young people to take action in a more sensitive and solution-oriented manner against environmental problems.

- Young people are trained on environmental issues and their awareness of environmental problems is raised. Trainings are usually supported by in-school and out-of-school activities, seminars, workshops, etc.

- Create a Community: Promotes a sense of belonging and community spirit by enabling a wide audience, including students from universities, primary and secondary schools, local Communities, Digital Platforms and Community Building and youth staff in Civil Society Organisations to participate in or support these inclusive activities.

We, as Turkey, are proud to involve partners in protecting natural life, utilising resources in a sustainable manner and leaving a healthy world for future generations. Also, taking into consideration the ‘2024 - 2028 Strategic Plan’ document published by the Turkish Presidency of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change,
We are looking for new partnerships in Turkey, combining historical environmental heritage with conscious and experienced communities.

Sustainability will be achieved through partnerships with educational institutions, NGO Organisations and disadvantaged groups, creating a lasting impact and a scalable model for inclusive environmental activities worldwide.

Innovative Dissemination Strategies:
- Collaborating with volunteers and environmental activists from diverse backgrounds to support the cause,
- Launch social media campaigns highlighting the stories and achievements of participants,
- Organising workshops and seminars to share insights and best practices for inclusive environment.
-Creating environmental comics and publicising them in the digital space

Timeline and Indicators of Success:

- Launch the planning and development phase on 5 April 2025 on World Environment Day,
- Launch of pilot environmental activities in mid-2025,
- Evaluation and expansion of the programme in 2026 with the aim of making the ‘Volunteer Environmental Ambassadors’ a benchmark for environmental inclusiveness.

Management of Challenges will be proactively addressed through continuous feedback loops, adaptive planning and the involvement of inclusive environmental and event management experts.
