Vital Soil, Vital Soul: Health Sciences Students Leading the Digital Detox and Organic Nutrition Revolution

Our project, "Vital Soil, Vital Soul," aims to address the growing global health issues of obesity and the negative impacts of an increasingly digital lifestyle. We believe that the solution lies in reconnecting with nature and understanding the vital link between soil fertility and nutritional value.
Main Objectives:
• To raise awareness about healthy and organic nutrition as a preventive measure against obesity.
• To explore the connection between sustainable farming/soil health and human health.
• To implement a "Digital Detox" environment where participants can focus on physical activity and mental well-being.
• To foster intercultural dialogue through non-formal education methods in a natural farm setting.
Activities:
The 7-day program in the Italy will include:
• Workshops led by health students on nutrition and obesity.
• Practical organic farming sessions in a farm environment.
• Digital detox sessions and outdoor physical activities.
• "Farm-to-Table" cooking challenges and cultural nights.
Partner Profile:
We are looking for a Sending Partner to join our 30-person team. Each team will consist of 9 participants + 1 Group Leader.
