Whether in the field of industry, art and sports, the aim is to reach the symbolic values that define the city as widely as possible to the inhabitants of the city and to preserve it in the long run.
In this call for proposals, we would like to work with associations that have a similar mission and want to share this internationally.
The twinning program creates a strong bond between settlements; therefore, the potential of the networks created by town twinning can be used to develop thematic and lasting cooperation between cities. The European Commission supports the development of such networks, which are important tools for structured, intensive and multifaceted cooperation and thus help to maximize the impact of the Program.
