Erasmus+ KA2 Capacity building in the field of Youth (Western Balkan Youth Window)
Long term project will last: 15th of Mart 2016 – 6st of February 2017

The main idea
Main purpose and goal of this training course is to enable youth workers, local activists and leaders to develop and gain leadership knowledge such as communication skills, crisis management, teamwork, motivation, soft skills, self-confidence, and project management. Also, the aim is that participants become proactive leaders, through working on self-discovery with other participants. They should become leaders that contribute to the development of the local community and social life and to build-up their conscious to be responsible for themselves and those around them.

The planned activities in our project are:

Activity 1 (7 days), in Serbia
Self-discovery
First, participants have to start with themselves, to see who they really are, what are participants’ potentials and to find their spot under sky. But how? Participants are going to work on themselves through, for participants, naive games and workshops which are going to show their abilities, potentials and build up their self-confidence. Also, they will get knowledge and competencessuch as soft skills, stress and time management, to empower the impact on them in future. The main aim of this activity is not only to find themselves but to see there are a lot of solutions to one problem. Participants will make a YouTube video about activities they have been doing to promote their growth. Also, they will make their Facebook page to invite others to follow project activities.

Activity 2 (7 days), in EU country
BE A LEADER!
This part of training course focuses on leadership skills and knowledge about European project framework. Project contains workshops for developing presentation skills, projects, interviews, communication and feedback, teamwork, facilitation skills … Every step in this activity is going to be covered by the principle “learning by doing” which means that participants will see how to do it in practice, so in the end they’ll be capable to do it by themselves. Through chosen activities as forum theatre, walking through the city with self- made t-shirts, participants will promote the project.

Activity 3 (9 days), in EU country
Spreading the knowledge
In last activity, participants will use all knowledge they have gained and they will make their own project.
They will submit problems in their community and choose on which one they want to work. Participants are going through project step by step, and work together in teams. As the result, participants will APPLY/DO this project in their organization and spread their knowledge in community. In the end, they will show their own project to each other and then evaluate the whole project as it is. After this, participants will evaluate thewhole project and expose their ideas for building-up the project.

Target group: People actively involved in work with unemployed young people (18-30 age) (youth workers, volunteers, youth leaders, NGO activists, educators, social workers).

Partners:
We would like to get youth organizations who work on education, who areactive in youth work, NGOs dealing with young unemployed people from Erasmus + countries and Western Balkan countries.
