Unite for Change

ABOUT THE PROJECT:

“Unit for Change” is a networking and community building activity for youth workers, which aims to connect youth workers from different youth organizations in order to:
- Exchange their good practices and inspire each other
- Plan new projects and international activities together
- Gain new motivation and “drive”

The proposed activity is a 3-day intense meeting of youth workers and other educators. During these 3 days, we are going to get to know each other and go straight to exchanging our experiences from our youth work. On day 1, the youth workers are going to discuss the challenges they are facing in their work and the needs of young people they aim to address.

On day 2, we are going to do our best to find solutions to these challenges. Each participant will present a good practice example from their work and we will also do a living library to learn more about some of these special experiences.

On the last day of the meeting, we are going to think about how we can connect to tackle our challenges together and how we can continue learning from each other. We are going to plan new projects, activities and any other initiatives. This last day brings a strong networking element into the project, many new partnerships and activities will hopefully be a lasting impact of this project.

PROFILE OF PARTICIPANTS:

2 per country
Currently involved in organizing international projects in a youth organization
Ready to actively participate in the TC, share their good practices and plan new projects with others
Able to communicate fluently in English

APPLICANT ORGANIZATION:

TOM Dumánci is a small NGO based in the Czech Republic, which already has years of experience with Erasmus+ Youth projects (youth exchanges, training courses and newly also KA2). We have worked with youth and youth workers on many different topics, our main focus is on intercultural learning, outdoor education, digital transformation and leadership.
