Unemployment and youth entrepreneurship

Theme of the Training Course:
Our task is to realize an intercultural exchange also about practical experiences with other European students. The main themes that will be discussed are young unemployment in a historical period strongly characterized by economical and social crisis.

Overall Aim of the Training Course:
The output that we want to realize is to strengthen among youngsters entrepreneurship capabilities and to create new firms (even through start-ups) in fields of a great social interest; we purpose to encourage the discussion among students from different European countries; among the debate, all the students can put in comparison the different economic and working perspectives of their own countries.
Objectives of the Training Course:
• To encourage among youngsters the entrepreneurial culture;
• To strengthen students’ capabilities in creating new firms in fields of great social interest;
• To create new working perspectives;
• To raise awareness on differences of cultural background of students from different European countries;
• To raise awareness on the cultural differences that exist between different European countries;
• To involve participants in coming up with new ideas for projects that aim to strengthen employment.
• To create a successful professional network among the participants and to promote cooperation between them in the future.
• To become active volunteers and active EU Citizens and to gain European awareness.
• Participants must be between 18 and 25 years old.
• Participants must be able to communicate in English, as it will be the working language of the Training Course.
• Participants are expected to actively participate in all program activities and therefore must be able to do so.

Participant Selection:
POLAND, ROMANIA, BULGARIA, ESTONIA, ITALY: LA POLONIA Sp. Zo.o, Asociatia Grow up Project, The Other Way Association, MTU SpeakNow and GEA Universitas must select and send 11 participants EACH, aged between 18-25 who have an interest and relevant experience to the aims of the project and youth work in general.
