Understanding and Debating Euroscepticism

The Municipality of San Damiano D’Asti is looking for Municipalities with whom to organize a project in the context of Europe for Citizens programme.

The Municipality of San Damiano D’Asti located in Piemonte in the North of Italy is looking for European partner Municipalities with whom to organize an international project in the context of Europe for Citizens programme.
The programme in 2016 gives the opportunity to the local authorities to discuss about Euroscepticism that today has gained ground in Member States to the point of redrawing political maps and disrupting traditional political divisions.
The idea is to organise a specific town twinning project in order to discuss the problem and collect opinions at citizens level and with specific targets groups: the young people aged 16-35 and the old people aged 60-75 in order to compare different points of view depending also to the age.
Projects under this action promote transnational mobility activities so this mean that the activities will be organised in San Damiano during a period of about 5 days and the European delegations will be invited. During the exchange, participants jointly will carry out a work programme (a mix of workshops, exercises, debates, role-plays, simulations, and other activities) designed and prepared for them before the exchange.
