UBUNTU - the Spirit of humanity

This training / workshop is designated for youthworkers who are interested to learn and apply inovative methods for personal development.

ecognising the rich heritage of spiritual wisdom that exists at the core of every culture, this creative workshop seeks to draw on and revitalise the personal and social values that live in the heart and soul of every individual – the universal values that are the foundation for living together in harmony.

Using Ubuntu as a an example of a coherent way of life and a values-based social system, workshop participants are encouraged to:
• explore and experience the personal and social values that support a whole some way of being;
• understand and apply the principles that are essential for living together in harmony;
• create a vision and action plan to integrate of these values and principles in daily life.

The workshop is not intended to be an academic study of the philosophy of Ubuntu. It is rather a shared journey of exploration of the spiritual
wisdom and values that have long existed in traditional societies and that are relevant to today’s world – using the concept of Ubuntu as a framework.
