TYMA Project: Training of Young Mediterranean Actors

With TYMA, we wish to foster collaboration between the countries of the Southern Mediterranean (partners in the ERASMUS+ programme) and the countries of the North. The meeting will make it possible to develop qualitative, solid and sustainable partnerships in the Euro-Mediterranean area and to extend networks between youth actors to international projects.

The Objectives of the projects are:
- developing Youth Workers’ knowledge and competences in international project and on the European Program (Erasmus+ and ESC)
- permitting to different organizations to obtain label in order to participate at such project
- gathering Youth Workers from all over the Mediterranean era and create new collaboration and partnerships

CALENDAR AND PROGRAMS:

Phase 1:
September/October 2020 : Preparation of information/training sessions.

January/September 2021 : Information sessions in several countries around the Euro-Mediterranean area with different actors from various structures on the processes and modalities of cooperation, in particular the Erasmus + programme and the ESC.

Phase 2:
October/november 2021 : Meeting in Marseilles (6 days of meetings including 2 days of travel) :
Meeting between the Euro-Mediterranean structures bringing together 3/4 persons per Southern partner country among the youth workers who will have participated in the 1st phase as well as the youth workers from the Northern partners.
The aim of the meeting is to create new international projects within the framework of the new Erasmus + programme in the youth field.
Organisation of a professional networking afternoon.

Phase 3 :
After the meeting : Support and follow-up of the implementation of the newly created projects.

We are currently looking for organisations from the South of the Mediterranean willing to establish a partnership with European structures. This means that the structures must be locally competent in the youth field and wish to develop international partnerships and projects using European programmes.
