TWIN UP

Hello,

we are the European Campus - APS, Italy, and we are planning to submit a proposal under the CERV programme, within the Town Twinning action.

Our project, entitled TWIN-UP, is rooted in the context of increasing globalization, which has led to intensified intercultural contacts, migration, and exchanges. While these changes have enriched societies, they have also brought challenges such as stereotypes, discrimination, and xenophobia, especially among those who are not yet ready to embrace societal transformation.

TWIN-UP aims to:

Counter stereotypes and discrimination

Promote cultural integration and inclusion

Celebrate and exchange local cultures through direct citizen engagement

Strengthen a shared European identity by building long-lasting connections between communities

Town twinning is at the heart of our project. Through cultural exchanges, intercultural dialogue, workshops, and participatory activities, citizens from different cities will meet, collaborate, and contribute to building a more inclusive, open, and united Europe.
