An artistic exchange connecting mainland and overseas Europeans in Europe, fostering culture, dialogue, shared identity, and solidarity.
The exchange will take place in Lithuania, a Baltic country where history, nature, and contemporary creativity intertwine.
The project aims to build a genuine human bridge between mainland Europeans and overseas European citizens by fostering mobility, artistic collaboration, and shared cultural experiences.
Through theatre workshops, performance, audiovisual creation, and participatory cultural practices, young people and cultural actors will exchange their stories, memories, and imaginaries. Together, they will explore what it means to belong to a diverse, plural, and evolving Europe one shaped by multiple languages, histories, and identities.
More than a simple exchange, the initiative functions as a living laboratory, where identities are expressed, questioned, and celebrated. Art becomes a common language, a space where differences are not erased, but transformed into dialogue, curiosity, and mutual enrichment.
The project also integrates a strong environmental dimension. Surrounded by forests, lakes, and vast Baltic landscapes, participants will reconnect with nature through outdoor workshops, exploratory walks, and site-specific artistic creations. These experiences encourage ecological awareness, sustainability, and a deeper appreciation of Europe’s natural beauty as a shared heritage.
The project therefore seeks to:
- strengthen intercultural dialogue between continental and overseas Europeans;
- promote artistic cooperation and creative expression;
- highlight Europe’s cultural and environmental diversity;
- foster solidarity, inclusion, and active citizenship among youth;
- and cultivate environmental responsibility through direct contact with local ecosystems.
Ultimately, this is a poetic and civic journe y:
linking distant shores, weaving memories across borders, and learning to inhabit the same European horizon together.
