TRASHORE- travel, surf and save tomorrow!

Where? Along the coastline of the atlantic ocean: Starting in Biarritz (FR), moving on to Santander(ES) and finishing in Lisbon (PT)
When? 24th of September until 14th of October 2011 (itinerant project activity)
Who? 35 youngsters (6 participants+1 leader) aged 18-28 years from five countries.
What? Action 1.1 Youth Exchange with the topic of diversity, volunteering in the field of environmental protection and trend sports (surfing, capoeira, yoga)
Partners: Austria, Portugal, France, Spain and UK!

• What is it all about?

TRASHORE is an international youth project for awareness-raising mainly in the field of environmental protection and cultural diversity, where young people with different cultural backgrounds travel together along the European coastline for 20 days (24/09- 14/10 2011) - learn to surf and clean the beaches! Our aim is to show the youngsters, in which bad conditions many beaches at our continent are and offer them an opportunity to change this fact by voluntarily collecting waste and being a role-model for others.

• Who we need?

We are searching for partner-organizations with a focus on sports, cultural diversity and environmental protection who are willing to build up a lasting network and a strong community of young multipliers who are aware of the treasure of nature and diversity! The best way to predict the future, is to design it yourself! Be part of the TRASHORE- community and belief in us making a difference!
