Transparency & visibility in the 3rd sector

The project is aimed at supporting organizations that are less able to build a brand, their transparency, and their visibility on the website.

We have already partners from Turkiye, Greece and Spain.

The project will be based on the tools available under google for non-profit programs, so it is important that only representatives of organizations from the countries listed below apply for the training. The project is aimed at supporting organizations that are less able to build a brand, good PR, transparency, and visibility on the website. Staff needs support in terms of practical and technical skills. The project does not require large financial outlays to introduce the principles of transparency, inclusiveness, and visibility to your organization.

Website designs will be created on WordPress in the Divi theme, which each organization receives for free as part of the course. No programming skills are required when using the Divi theme. It will be the responsibility of the organization to cover the hosting and domain costs. So if you already have hosting and a domain, you don't have to worry about these expenses. During the project, you can create a completely new website for your organization or rebuild the current one according to the results of your research.

The project will consist of two mobilities

first mobility (2023)
-transparency in the third sector (needs, good practices, problems)
-visibility of non-governmental organizations (the perspective of funders, donors, beneficiaries, team)
-Communication without barriers, or how to adapt websites to people with disabilities
- introduction to UX/UI
- audit the current pages of the organization
-creating audit reports
-preparation of quantitative research forms - tailored for each organization
- in-depth interview (IDI) - preparation of scenarios
- persona - how to develop a persona for users of our website
- building information architecture on our website
-Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1

The time between the mobilities
-conducting quantitative research by sharing the surveys
-conducting in-depth interviews
-developing the persona on the basis of previous data obtained from audits, research, and interviews.
-preparation of the initial assumptions of information architecture


second mobility (2024)
- a report on activities carried out as part of the UX process
- building prototypes and their evaluation
- prototype transfer to WordPress
- SEO - introduction
- Google Ads campaigns - introduction
- Monitoring the results of our website: GA4 and Google search console - introduction


Profile of participants: management staff in the organization, project managers, website administrators, PR/marketing specialists, and educators. Due to the specifics of the project, the organization cannot involve people who are not related to NGOs.

If you do not have adequate human resources in your organization to participate in the project, please do not apply. The project is open to people who really care about the development of the third sector and will be able to take part in both mobilities. Please do not send random representatives who are not part of your organization.
