Transcending fear, the path to the other

It is a theater exchange project between young people from Algeria, France and Poland and Spain under construction with a partner in two stages. First one in Marseille during the holiday in 2016 and second one in November 2016 in Wroclaw (Poland).

We propose to do theater workshops primarily focused on the topics: stereotypes, prejudice, xenophobia, rejection -encounter with the Other and the overcoming of fear of the other. The workshops will be enriched by the intercultural evenings and cultural trip in the host city.

Public: 7 youth from each country including a leader between 14 and 18/19. Our project gives priority to disadvantaged people in popular neighborhoods, who can live the rejection and the difficulty in their life and who want to deepen their knowledge and practice of theater. We seek diversity within each group.
