Training course "Virtual Classroom"

Activity is training course on developing new information and communication technologies for young people’s learning. Project involves 30 participants (more). Each organization should send 3 (at least) participants. Background of participants is youth workers who perform the educational role within their youth work organisation.
Because of advanced technology gadgets and widespread Internet the way we teach, learn and work has changed significantly. Nowadays learning material can be easily shared, accessed and created through the emerging new opportunities of learning online. Even though generations of today’s youth are born with advanced technology and for them it is comprehensive to socialise via social media online, it does not necessarily mean that they have needed web literacies to handle learning and working with advanced information and communication technologies (ICT). It is on our organisations who work with youth to adopt ICT tools, new learning and working methodologies to improve communication and work with youth and to modernise our educational and working methods.
Objectives of the project are to explore and develop innovative ways of teaching, learning and working in the digital era. We strive to improve the capacities of youth work organisation to utilise the latest information and communication technologies tools to offer modern teaching and learning opportunities and professional services for young people.
