Crash course in project management process for youth workers, volunteers, and youth leaders involved in non-formal education
Training course "Project Management Cookbook" will address the need to strengthen project management skills among youth workers, volunteers, and youth leaders involved in non-formal education within youth organizations, NGOs, and similar entities.
Recognizing program development as a critical competency for youth workers, the project aims to bridge the gap in knowledge and training, especially for those with limited experience, enabling them to effectively plan, implement, and evaluate international and local projects, as well as youth-led initiatives.
Profile of participants:
- Inexperienced youth workers who recently have started with youth project management
- entry level staff, volunteers etc. of NGOs, associations who work directly with youth project management (local or international)
- youth leaders, active young people, who want to develop and carry out yout-led initiatives/projects

Objectives:
• Equip youth workers, volunteers, and youth leaders with essential project management knowledge and skills to effectively design, plan, implement, and evaluate youth projects
• Explore digital/AI tools and promote the adoption of digital tools to improve project management process in international and local youth projects
• Build capacity of youth organisations by increasing project management knowledge and efficiency through digital tools
• Promote knowledge exchange and cooperation among youth organisations, youth workers and youth leaders from different countries to enhance project management practices in a cross-cultural context
• Build a network of entry level youth workers and youth leaders who can share experiences and resources in project management, as well as support each other along the way to strengthen youth work and youth initiatives collectively
• Encourage long-term partnerships between organizations participating in the project, fostering continuous collaboration in project management training and youth development initiatives
• Translate and make internationally available project management guide on project management principles tailored to the needs of those with limited or no prior experience in project management “Project Management Kitchen: Different Cookbook” (RED, 2012)
• Update project management guide “Project Management Kitchen: Different Cookbook” (1) with digitally-enabled project management practices developed during this project
