Training course: Motivate your Volunteers

Our training will offer youth workers innovative methods of motivating their volunteers and actively involving their local community in their projects.

DeVision Association is planning to apply for the 30th of April 2014 Erasmus+ dead-line with a training course for youth workers on the topic of motivating volunteers, stimulating young people’s ambition and internal motivation, creativity and interest in community’s problems.

Project Summary: We’ve noticed lately that young people are more and more pessimistic regarding their opportunities, their impact in the society and their involvement in volunteering activities. They tend to give up volunteering work because sometimes they believe it’s useless and their work is in vain despite a bigger involvement of the Government and local authorities in solving the community’s problems. The European Union is trying through different programs to stimulate the active citizenship and peoples’ involvement in solving communities problems.

Our training will try, on one hand, to offer youth workers innovative methods of motivating their volunteers, to motivate volunteers to continue the good work they are doing, and on the other hand to raise awareness on the community of the importance of active citizenship and volunteering.
