The Partner-Finding Tool
Woodworking and Digital Competence
I'm looking for partners interested in teaching young people to process wood and improve their digital skills
The theme of the project:
How to transform woodworking into a small business?
What useful things (small size) can I make of wood?
What decorative objects can I do?
Practical issues for households
Teaching materials for pupils
Sales for children's parks (kindergartens)
Small rest areas for the garden
Wooden toys
Sculpture in wood
Thick fabrics (fruit baskets, etc.)
How do these wooden objects be maintained?
What are the good woods for the manufacture of these objects?
Each partner will organize - Blended mobility of young people
This transnational activity will be reserved for 2 days (the last days of the period) dedicated to the development and improvement of digital competences by the realization of digital materials, photo and video processing made during the activity. In the 2 days, youth workers and young people will be guided (they will be suggested to work with them), they will have tutorials of the applications prepared to help them in their work. The results will be posted on the project site
Online guide for the products presented in the exhibition
Exposure for sale online
At the end of the project, young people and youth workers will have knowledge about modalities and processed wooden objects in different countries, regions, culture and tradition different from their own.
To long term we hope to continue the collaboration, the young to combine the various information and knowledge acquired through the project and to initiate small local business (or may be small business partners based on wood processing and digitization help to promote and sell products)
To maintain and promote the online store - this means that they will continue to create products, create new ones
