Traditional Crafts and new job

The "Traditional crafts and new jobs" is a nine day training course within the framework of the ERASMUS + program, which will take place between 1. and 9. July .2015 in Ruse, Slovenia. The project is aimed at youth workers and leaders. During the course they will become acquainted with possibility of self-employment in the manufacturing and sales of traditional handicrafts.
The project will gather 25 youth leaders from invited countries especially those who are motivated to become young entrepreneurs or will be the promoter for entrepreneurship in their local environments. We will ensure acceptance and dispatch of partner’s teams and quality accommodation for them. The group dynamics will serve us to build-up a team spirit and create a good working atmosphere. We will take care of recreation and the social life of the participants. There will be a sign language course for all participants, so that we could communicate with two deaf members of the project. In collaboration with our partners, we will prepare high quality lectures and workshops and proven coaches for the areas: "The catalogue of traditional crafts", "The EU craft permit legislation" and “The marketing strategy for traditional crafts.". We will organize intercultural evenings and a NGO bazaar, film the LIP-DUB video, and an educational trip in Slovenia with a visit to traditional crafts workshops. There will be a presentation of Erasmus+ programs and award ceremony for the “Youth pass” diplomas.
Methodologies used in the project will be non-formal education: group dynamics for building and the strengthening of team spirit and a creative atmosphere, workshops, group discussions, ongoing evaluation work... Expected results and impact of the project will be dissemination of the results of the project in local environments by youth workers and leaders. All results and the materials created in the project will be posted on FB profile and open to all stakeholders as a contribution to reducing youth unemployment. The long-term potential of the project "Traditional crafts and new jobs" will be a creation of a common web platform and meeting point for young people all over EU countries, where they could share their opinions, experiences and present their new business ideas .The platform will also maintain contacts for common performance on foreign markets.
All participants will have excellent working conditions as the CEZAM youth centre has at its disposal a concert hall and two technically fully equipped conference rooms where workshops, group dynamics and a plenary session will take place. The hostel will provided quality accommodation and food, the sports centre, which is operated by CEZAM, will offer use of the swimming pool, sauna, and gym on an everyday basis to all participants.
