Town twinning

Considering that Cesano Boscone has no twin cities, we expect to involve one/two towns with whom we would be pleased to establish a solid twinning relationship

The "Europe for Citizens" program, which provides funding to town twinning projects, supports projects bringing together citizens from different EU countries. More specifically, the cooperation shall take the form of a programme of activities which may involve children from our local schools and a youth exchange. The project should take into account specific priorities for "Democratic engagement and civic participation" (Strand 2), for instance "intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding". The starting point could be a Debate on the future of Europe.
