The concept of European Citizenship is deeply connected with the ideals of democracy, participation and human rights in Europe and beyond. On the one hand, many young people express those ideals in multiple ways, as active citizens, outside and inside formal democratic structures. On the other hand, it is still a challenge to stimulate many young people to engage more in society and feel concerned by wider European or global processes. To answer these needs GREEN Association, prepare this project. The association team hopes to find ways to stimulate young people to engage more in society, exploring European citizenship, and to support them as they develop their sense of belonging to the wider community, Europe, as they become concerned about, and committed to, its values, its present and its future.

DURATION: 7 November – 13 November 2024

VENUE:

TARGET GROUP:
• Active young people, youth workers, volunteers, project coordinators and NGO representatives aged between 18 and 29 years old from the Programs countries;
• Availability to take part in every aspect of the exchange;
• Medium level of English.

GROUP SIZE:
• 5 youth aged 18 – 29 + 1 leader per organization (no age limit of the leader);
• Total: 36 participants and 6 leaders from 6 programme countries

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Working language: English;

FINANCIAL CONDITIONS:
• Organizers will provide accommodation and three meals a day - during the whole event days;
• Transport costs following the official calculator for distance Erasmus+
• NO PARTICIPATION FEE.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTNERS:
We are looking for only 1 partner from EU country that:
• have experience in international youth projects;
• are ready to take active part during the whole duration of the project;
• are registered in one of the EU countries and have an OID.

• Be prepared to get Mandate letter and send it to us scanned by e-mail.
