We can all agree there is a low interest in civil and political education amongst youngsters. The most recent findings (Eurobarometer) show a lack of participation in community issues but also depreciating level of trust in institutions. We appreciate that the causes are both internal (lack of relevant knowledge and individual initiative) and external (malfunctioning of government, low quality information and questionable integrity of politicians).
Our goal is to stimulate the interest of an international group of young people through a youth exchange programme. Our key activities will be mainly based on non formal instruments: workshops, structured dialogue sessions, panels with special guests (local politics and journalism fields) and raising public attention (thematic flash mob and handmade pamphlets).
