Third for fair trade
There are people from Piekar Śląski in Poland!
The KOMKE Youth Club is looking for partners from the city with the title of FAIRTRADE TOWN, who would like to take part in the youth exchange that will take place in their city, which already has the title. Poland has only two Fair Trade Towns and we want to be third.
The main aim of this project is to learn from the inhabitants of the city with the FAIRTRADE TOWN title how to make our city, Piekary Śląskie, the City of Fair Trade. We would like to gain experience e.g. in running a campaign for Fair Trade Town. During this exchange we would also like to learn about the culture of your country. In return, we can share our knowledge about Sustainable Development Goals and preparation of city games. For 10 years we have been one of the organizers of "Fair Train" city games, where we deal with several Fair Trade topics.
