Theater of Inclusion

The objectives we have set are:
- To offer 38 participants from 6 different countries a common space for reflection on how important inclusion is at this moment in history.
- To analyze and discuss the responses of each country to the refugee crisis and learn more about immigration policies and the support mechanisms that EU offers to immigrants and refugees.
- To disseminate theater's instrument as an inclusive bridge, designing and creating a themed show.
- To formulate innovative proposals and tools to promote the process of inclusion within all the countries involved.
- To underline the importance of the key competence developement, keeping faith with the essential foundations of non-formal education.
- To spread the use of Youthpass and the whole Erasmus + program.

Topics will be addressed taking into account the needs of the participants and the working methods will include: learning to learn, coaching, mutual cooperation, self-reflection and self-observation, discussions, visualization of audiovisual material. We will use the Online Learning Badges as a tool to measure learning process, also helping the participants to fill their Youthpass. We will use many other tools of non-formal education such as: simulations, role-playing games, open discussion, energizer, theater, debate, games and digital material creation.

The aim of stimulating reflection on the social inclusion process, on the theater instrument and on the EU will be achieved through the final dissemination of the project results with the creation of a public event and the active involvement of the population. This is possible thanks to our constant commitment and to the network of contacts we have at local and regional level,
The European exchange also aims to make the territory of Messina breathe a European horizon, promoting the possibilities offered by the Erasmus + program and participation in international mobility initiatives.
