The wealth of diversity

The group consists of 8 people from Wrocław and Lower Silesia. 4 people come from national minorities, and 4 participants are Poles. We are 18 to 21 years old. Everyone is interested in many different things and this is what we expect from our partners.

The reason for this is the main theme of our project. It's about the difference between cultures. Sometimes small groups of a nation living outside their homeland - minorities - have difficulty learning the new language, behavior and traditions of the new country. Therefore, we see some misunderstandings between two different cultures. We also want to avoid these kinds of problems by learning and understanding the history and traditions of other cultures.

The idea is to bring together as many cultures as possible.

We want to invite 6 groups from 6 different countries. Each group must consist of 8 people. We want mixed groups, 4 minorities and 4 indigenous peoples who come into contact with other nations on a daily basis. We are looking for people who are interested in the history of their culture, music, cuisine, traditions, etc. In other words, we are looking for people who play an instrument, sing, cook national dishes, can present the history of their country and speak their native language. The age of the participants varies from 18 to 21 years old. They must be tolerant and interested in learning about other cultures.

We will treat the project of submitting proposals to ours as a priority.
