KA152 Youth Exchange for ages 15-20 focusing on digital wellbeing, phone addiction, soft skills, and shifting from passive consumption to civic action.
Type: KA152 Youth Exchange
Theme: Digital Wellbeing, Civic Engagement & Personal Development
“The Unplugged Odyssey: A Digital Detox Journey for Youth” Exchange is an invitation to step back from the digital noise and rediscover the value of real-world interaction. In an era where constant connectivity often leads to emotional exhaustion and social isolation, this project focuses on the transition from being a passive consumer of digital content to becoming an active creator.
The project is specifically designed for young people aged 15-20, with a strong focus on social inclusion. We are actively looking to involve young people with fewer opportunities, ensuring they have equal access to tools that improve their digital well-being and social confidence.
Our goal is to provide a space where participants can analyze their relationship with technology and learn how to use it as a tool for growth rather than a source of distraction. By exploring the psychological triggers of phone addiction, we aim to help them regain control over their time and focus.
Beyond digital balance, we aim to equip participants with essential digital skills and soft-skills, such as critical thinking, communication, and emotional intelligence. A major focus will be empowering young people to discover local opportunities and learn how to use their newly acquired skills to get actively involved in their own communities. We want them to see technology not as an escape, but as a bridge to active citizenship and personal development.
