The Seven Continent

The problems we want to address in this project are:
Too much environmental, air and water pollution,
Low awareness of environmental pollution,
The existence of the 7th continent,
The thought that recycling is difficult,

Our project has been prepared to meet the following needs:
To increase the awareness of young people about environmental, air and water pollution,
To ensure that young people gain environmental awareness,
To raise awareness about our environmental responsibilities,
To encourage young people to think in a solution-oriented manner towards the environmental problem,
Conscious recycling,
Raising awareness about solution-oriented thinking, creativity and empathy,
To support young people to work to protect the world they live in.

The goals of our project:
We are planning to organize workshops for the Seven Continents Project to raise awareness of young people about environmental problems and to help individuals become more sensitive to the solution of environmental problems. The debate we will hold will be a debate focused on finding solutions to environmental problems. Before this debate, we selected 6 EU member countries. Connecting is at the top of the criteria we have determined when choosing these countries. With this, we aimed to unite the union between east-west and north-south. In addition to this, the second literature was searched. Scanned literature on environmental pollution 3 countries were selected. These countries are Latvia, Ukraine and Bosnia-Herzegovina. In addition, France was chosen due to its success in environmental pollution. The Netherlands was chosen as the return home to the capital of the Greenpeace organization, which conducts great research on environmentalism. The last country is Germany, which has high awareness of renewable energy and works on this subject.
Turkey, to have both clean and dirty city about environmental pollution and also will represent the host country because of the 7 continents.
We will divide the participants from these countries into different groups according to their countries. Environmental problems belonging to six continents were previously identified for the participating groups. Each group will distribute the determined topics belonging to the six continents and each group will be asked to work on these issues. After that, they will be asked to make presentations on environmental problems given to the groups during the event. This process will be supported with the environmental awareness workshops we have prepared. At the end of this process, a debate will be held with groups. The debate will be broadcast live on social media platforms and voting will be held for each group. As a result of the voting, post-project studies will be carried out on the solution proposal of the first and second group.
The project aims to create a discussion environment that focuses on specific environmental problems specific to six continents. In this environment, we want to bring together young people who are unaware of each other over long distances with environmentalism, which is a global common denominator. In addition, asking each group to think about the problems of other groups will create an atmosphere of empathy and gain a global consciousness.
