The second life of stuff - La seconda vita delle cose

“The second life of things” is a youth exchange project that lasts for a week that aims to develop a critical awareness about the importance of recycling, expanding personal creativity, making important changes to a sustainable lifestyle and enriching oneself culture for a future job and in everyday life in general.
During the activities the concept of recycling will be introduced, having a look at the issues related to the society of the consumers and try to find a way to reuse objects and materials which can be used otherwise.
People will practice several different activities that will develop intercultural and interpersonal communication through informal education and socialization activities.

Objectives:
1- To empower personal creativity and fancy, increase awareness on environmental issues through discussions on globalization and ecology;
2- To raise the employability of young people by combining creative work with non formal learning activities;
3- To promote intercultural learning and cooperation among young people through the tool of learning by doing, which allows them to self- express and communicate their background, experience and culture.
4- To empower youth to become active and responsable citizen of the world by promoting a space for interaction, learning and sharing of knowledge. It will possible to show to the community the outcomes and products of the project in an open event.

Numbers of partecipants: 6 for each country
Age of participants: 20-22 years (not including group leaders)
